We delivered Phase 2 of the 156th Street reconstruction, improving a key north–south corridor between West Dodge Road and Corby Street in west Omaha. The project supported the City of Omaha’s long‑term goals of enhancing traffic flow, safety, and infrastructure capacity along a rapidly growing arterial.
The work included full‑depth roadway reconstruction, new curb and gutter, storm sewer improvements, sidewalks and ADA‑compliant curb ramps, roadway and driveway upgrades, and construction of new noise walls to reduce traffic impacts on adjacent neighborhoods. Construction was carefully phased to maintain traffic flow and property access, despite high volumes and tight urban conditions near Dodge Street.
Upon completion, the corridor now provides a safer, more durable, and more efficient roadway with improved mobility and reduced noise impacts for the surrounding community. This project highlights our team’s ability to deliver complex urban infrastructure projects while minimizing disruption to the public.
