Vrana Civil completed roadway improvements along Fort Street, upgrading a key east–west corridor serving residential neighborhoods and commercial traffic in the Omaha metro area. The project focused on improving roadway durability, drainage capacity, and overall corridor performance.
Work included roadway reconstruction and associated infrastructure improvements, along with large box culvert extensions to enhance stormwater management along the corridor. Construction was completed in an active urban environment requiring careful traffic control, staging, and coordination to maintain access for the traveling public and adjacent properties.
The completed improvements provide a safer, more reliable roadway with improved drainage and long‑term performance. This project highlights Vrana Civil’s experience delivering complex urban street and structural drainage improvements while minimizing impacts to the surrounding community.
