We completed roadway improvements along 168th Street between Pacific Street and Center Road, reconstructing a critical north–south corridor serving west Omaha’s growing residential and commercial areas. The project focused on improving traffic flow, safety, and long‑term roadway performance.
Work included full‑depth roadway reconstruction, new curb and gutter, storm sewer improvements, sidewalks and ADA‑compliant curb ramps, and intersection and driveway upgrades. The project also included construction of a major drainage structure, requiring H‑piling installation and coordinated excavation in a constrained urban environment. Construction was carefully staged to maintain traffic flow and property access throughout the project.
The completed improvements provide enhanced capacity, improved drainage, and a safer, more durable roadway for motorists and pedestrians. This project highlights Vrana’s ability to execute complex urban infrastructure work—including structural drainage systems—efficiently and with minimal disruption to the surrounding community.
